Is it true that when you order a beer in a bar ... German?
... That the retention of two fingers (a sign of peace "," a sort of way) will not give you two, but three beers, and automatically count the thumb? (Germans supposed to start counting with the thumb as # 1, then pointer is 2, etc. .. sister and little would be 5.) Is this a ridiculous legend?
The cash portion of the thumb as # 1, if true, but if the boy wanted to kiss you, he will probably give you three, but mostly gave Americans without knowing probably stay that way with two fingers is in place. In a sense it is logical, however. Why should we use our finger as a pointer # 1 when the second finger?
